Biography

Rusty Door Photography is a creative, inspirational and personal journey. The name comes from the old rusty bunker doors at one of my favorite places, Fort Worden, near Port Townsend, Washington. The doors tell a story through their history and deterioration.

I find inspiration in abandoned buildings, the dark bunkers of old forts, cemeteries and other forgotten places in my travels. This especially came true as I returned to Washington State last year after spending 5 years in central Alabama exploring the dark, complex history of the area.
